I was wondering if you were scared to vote because of retalliation. If you are a die-hard Democrat, are you concerned that during a Republican administration, someone with power could order the voter records (public info) and maybe do things to you to prevent you from voting in a future elections, like have the IRS audit you because you are a Democrat, or do things that may take away yor ability to vote? What if you wrote a letter to your Congressman, would he was Democrat, would he give you the attention you deserved if you normally vote republican? I just used the Republican and Democrat not intending to make either one sound like the bad guy.

I am not scared to vote but sometimes it does cross my mind about retaliation because I am a registered democrat in a very Republican southern state.

That's the thing about the secret ballot. It's secret. That's why I always thought it was ridiculous to pay people to vote for you. You never know what they are going to do when they get into the ballot box. I could sit here and scream all day about my party and then go vote for somebody else.
