Abortion is the unlawful taking of a life and a direct violation of human rights to me, whereas adoption with the purpose of giving a child a better chance of survival is right and good.

Therefore, I have the same question as well. Why abortion?

Because there are not enough adopters if such an influx arose? What if the parent continues to have another baby after giving one up for adoption and keeps on happening. While this does not justify abortion, one produces a children that might not get picked for adoption and SOMEBODY will have to care for him/her while abortion does not require anyone to take care of anybody. Again, its not a justification of abortion but your reasoning alone against abortion is not suffice.

You can do what ever you want. Some people would rather have an abortion. I personally would not do it, because I would feel guilty about it for the rest of my life. Some people can handle the guilt.

There are very few legitimate reasons to abort a child these days. Severe health concerns, rape, and incest are the only ones that come to mind.

Most who have abortions are faced with horrible choices and see it as the only way out. It is their choice, albeit an uninformed one, in my opinion other than in the above circumstances.

1. Having the child may kill you.
2. The child is dead in the womb
3. The child is severely deformed in the womb.
4. Why should I carry someone elses child? Don't want the child to start with, why should I carry it and then give it away?

because the expense and pain caused by being pregnant, its no fun, i did everything i thought i could to avoid it, including surgery, on my self, and i still got pregnant. i nearly lost my mind because of it. I didnt enjoy being a mother at all, and i sure didnt want to do it a second time. thank heavens for abortion rights.

They shouldn't...it's murder of a potential wonderful man or woman, one less reason to make their parents proud and another smile that we will never have the pleasure of seeing.
