Your blood type is dependent on both parents.
It may be on your birth certificate, some places like hospitals may do it as part of pre employment. But
If you are trying to conceive I would urge you to have the blood work done. Depending on your blood type there may be some things you need to get taken care of for your and the childs health.

I know my daughter's blood type because they told us what it is when she was born. It's possible that your parents know it or could find it in paperwork that they might have from when you were little.

Other than that, I can't think of a way. It could be an important thing to know, so you might want to think about getting some basic blood work done.

Also, you might want to try asking this question in the "Health" category here in YA. There might be people that haunt that section, like I sort of haunt this one, because it's something that they feel they know about.

Good luck!

When you have blood tests or your blood is drawn you should know. Ask next time, they will definitely tell you. :)

And as for the person way above me, you and your dad could have the same blood type but that isn't true. My dad and I have different blood types, so that isn't always true.
