Everyone there is part of my "rextended" family of human patriots. Obviously there is a plan because we're there, they've held their first free elections, the people are free and one of the most unstable leaders in the world has been denounced and captured. As for the loss of life, I and hopefully everyone else in the world who cares about the life of their "global brothers and sisters" is saddened by the fact that this campaign against terrorisim and for free nations has cost the loss of good men and women. Howver, this country fought for the abolishment of slavery at one point in history and the loss of life during Civil War was greater than the loss of life any any (3) other major military campaigns in the fight for universal freedom and democracy.

"There are still Al Qaida members in Iraq, do you realize that? if they could make it here, they would"

Yeah.. they're there.. now that we abolished the borders and the control Saddam had. You know.. because what would happen to our country if for one day the borders were 100% open. And the Mexicans knew about it? Um... mass illegal immigration right? Well howabout if u were a general. And you just heard that Iran is no longer protecting its borders.... Wouldn't you feel it's a great time to sneak in and mess with them? That's what the terrrorists wanted to do.. that's what they did. Why? Because we thought that by invading Iraq (had NO ties to Al Qaeda... you can't prove they did) we gave the terrorists groups an easy target. Now they don't have to fly accross the world to attack Americans. Our citizens are safe.. though harassed by all the security measures... but our soldiers keep dieing and more terrorists keep appearing! When does it end? It doesn't! Won't, ever. There will always be terrorists and always be wars... I won't go into 1984.. that book annoys me now.

I go back to Gulf War in the 90's under Bush #1 and ask the question what did we accomplish in the war? Why did we not take Iraq at that time?

When Bush was "elected" president in 2000 he saw window of opportunity to prove his manhood with support of Cheney and Rumsfeld who have wore a military uniform and convinced the public of the evils of Iraq with 9-11. Yes have known several friends who are puttling lives on the line in this unjust war.

There was no plan they felt knew how to conduct the war and did not listen to defense officials who knew better. Now we are stuck in war that will be Vietnam of the 21st. century.

No there is no plan. He has made the rules and reasons up as he has gone along. The reason al-qaida is in Iraq is because we let them in. The ones who arnt just want us out of there and to stop pressing our way of life on them. In alot of ways we have made life worse for people over there. There are now 3 times the amount of attacks, car bombs, scuicide bombs as there was before we invaded. There are alot of people now who have no place to live. Areas that used to have electricity all the time are now lucky if they have it for 2 hours a day and other areas barely have enough water for anyone. Stay the course?!?! Whats the course?!?!? answer that one and then you can say stay to it. There never was a course to begin with. Oh and remember we won in Iraq a few years ago.

Bush has no plan whatsoever. Bush thought it would be another quick war like the '91 Gulf War. Boy was he ever wrong. Bush will probably be regretting his decision to invade Iraq for the rest of his life.

What do you people think will happen if we leave Iraq now? You want to just leave those people to be devoured and controlled by the terrorists? No Al Queda there, and you can't prove it? Wow what an elementary school statement. Can you prove that there wasn't? Anyway, they are there now! Do you realize how emboldened they would be if we left? Do you know how happy you make them with all of your dooms day talk? We keep the fight over there, keeping it out of our country, until the job is done. If we leave, all of the soldiers who have died will have died in vain. For now we support our troops, like Vered Ojos family members and that means we do not talk about leaving.....we finish the job!

Do you have a plan? Do the democrats have a plan? Unfortunately in war, you start with a plan, but circumstances cause the plan to be amended. That's where we are today. Washington is working with the Generals in Iraq and Afghanistan to counter the insurgents who will do anything to destroy the chance for a democracy in an Arab country. They lose power then, and power is what this is all about.

Yea...He thinks he is gonna win this war come hell or high-water...Each day he gets deeper and deeper into something he had no inkling what-so-ever was gonna happen. And he is just gonna stay there for the rest of his term or he starts WWIII in which case, were in big trouble..He'll keep on lying to us and his idiot republican cohorts will believe him tooth and nail. Yes plenty of family there, and when I'm allowed I'll be over there too. Bush does have a plan, instill a democratic govt, while keeping it safe from radical islamic fundamentalists. He wants them to build up a strong army so they wont get taken over from their next door neighbor, Iran.

I am sure Bush has a plan for Iraq
However the media tell us it changes almost every day so I am sure His plan is not perfect.

We can believe in his plan or not, however we choose, your opinion will only count when you come to vote for a new president next time.
