My DELL Insprion 1000 laptop is getting hanged after 10-15 minutes of usage and I have to switch off using the button. What is the problem.

1.do you have too many background running programs?
2.does your DELL have enough RAM to handles the processes?
3.is your DELL's cooling fan still working? (Overheat can cause system hang)
4.Could your DELL be infected by viruses or spyware?
item no. 3 is very likely the cause.
Check you fan, is it spining when you switch on the laptop.

Hmm...you might have some spyware on your computer that's corrupting some files from working. See if you can download Ad Aware (it's free) and then scan your system for any spyware. Also, try and do a system check for viruses if you can.

sounds like it needs a new fan does it feel hot
