Are y'all sure about all that?

1/2 squared is 1/4
1/2 cubed is 1/8

.1 squared is .01
.1 cubed is .001

Which is bigger?

The question is not answerable.

As for geometric figures, you have first to decide if "bigger" means by volume, surface area, or some other dimension. So any cube is bigger than any square by volume (as a 2-dimensional figure has no volume), but a 1x1x1 cube is much smaller than a 10x10 square, if you are considering size in terms of surface area. Or, a square playing card in a $10,000 game of Hold'em might be much "bigger" (in importance) than a cubic die in a $1 game of craps.

The moral of the story: learn to think outside your square! (or is it cube?) ;)

That depends on what number it is. For example, the geometric square cannot be compared to a geometric cube, just because it is measured differently.

For all positive numbers greater than one (and does not include 1), a cube is bigger than a square. For all numbers less than one (except for 0 and 1), the cube is smaller than a square. For 0 and 1, the square or cube stays the same.

Simply, a Cube is bigger.

2 Squared is 4

2 Cubed is 8

5 Squared is 25
5 cubed is 125

A square is two dimensional, a cube is three dimensional. The area of a square, say a field would be length X width. A cube of the same size would be length X width X depth. The area of the cube would be greater.

All else being equal, i.e. the length and width of the square and cube being equal, a cube occupies more space, thus "bigger", than the square because it has a third dimension: "depth".

cubed is bigger than squared

x^2 compared to x^3

plug in numbers and you will see a pattern. good luck

offcourse the CUBE
according to ::
Cube= H x W x L
Square= Hx W

and also ::: by numerical values:::
cube of 2== 2*2*2= 16
sqaure of 2= 2*2= 4

moreover:
cube is itself three* and sqaure is two*
hence : cube is bigger then square..
