Wow, not one straight answer... at least not one that was correct. The fastest snake, the Black Mamba, can move at about 20 MPH for short distances whereas a human can move at around 28 MPH and a bear can move at around 30 MPH.
So to answer your question, no a snake can not keep up with you and neither of you could outrun a bear.

Well snakes don't crawl, they slither. And unlike dogs they aren't too protective of their owners. I'm sure that bear would be having himself some fried snake. "Tastes like chicken"

It depends on the type of snake...mambas and sidewinders can move fast [especially in sandy environments], but you wouldn't want them to be your pet, as they are very poisonous.

Bear may weigh alot,but there are quite fast.All that hugeness isn't the fur,its all muscle.The snake and the human wouldn't exactly make it out alive
