Kudos on voting for who you think's best.. on not the party.
On the scale I am far left. I am much of what Conservative Americans hate. Socialist views on the economy and corporations and even more views I won't go into here.
Though, politically (as in demo or rep) i am independant. I hate both parties. Neither of them have the best in mind for this country and it's people. They used to... now it's all a game to beat out the other person. So I do what anyone else with my opinions would do. I vote for the lesser of the two evils and understand that they surely don't have 100% of my views in their crosshairs... just a few... some... or more than the other person. All we can do is vote and hope. In many ways democracy sucks. In many ways... it rocks. Constructive criticism is good for this country though. I'm glad we have intellectuals.

Im registered as a Independent, and thats what I am and I would like to see more growth in a third party that is better than the two parties we have now. I believe the two main parties have been bought by the lobbyist/special interest and don't represent the average American people. I know alot of people who feel the same and I believe it is coming soon and the fence sitters will join us when they are sure we can get some canidates elected, its just a matter of time.

I have progressed through them all. Liberal in high school and college. Democrat in second half of college. Republican now that I am grown and in the workforce. You have to research, though. Not everyone is good, no matter what party they are in. You have to go with the best candidate, regardless of party lines. Good point.

I'm a registered Democrat because I like they way they generally are supportive of women's rights and the rights of minorities. I always think that if a candidate of another party seems the best choice I would vote for them, but it hasn't happened yet.

I strongly reject&resent the two party system and am far removed rather than in between them. I wish the demoralized,
dismayed and indifferent none voters could rally to a third party independant but I'm a dreamer too.....

I am a Republican, but that doesn't mean I agree with everything in their party. I associate myself with them because I agree with MOST of what they do, not ALL. I guess I could be considered socially liberal... but I think my biggest problem is that HATE for George Bush. It is okay to not like him, it is okay to disagree with him, I just don't get the absolute HATE, and I think that really shows the sides of certain people. They compare Clinton to him.. and I say, we didn't HATE Clinton.. still dont, just dont think what he did was right. There are so many different issues that I think you have to be crazy to agree with EVERYTHING one party stands for ya know?

I used to be in between. George Bush and company have pushed me strongly into the Democrat corner.
