his name is nick. well I like him but I have never met him(I know I always say internet dating is stupid, but he lives by me so its not like I cant meet him). he knows that I like him and I think he likes me too. well we met through a mutual friend(kyle and i THINK he likes me(I like him too, but he already has a gf). well, Nick told me that kyle said Im mean and ugly(i have no idea why) and kyle says he never said that. nick and me think that kyle is just jealous of nick(bcuz I like him) and he made it up to make nick hate me. how do I handle this? who do I believe?
d.a.m.n, I feel like such an idiot talking about 'boys' and them 'likeing' me... I know a lot of guys do, but I have never liked them back and ive never had a(real) boyfriend b4. so thanks for the help in advance...

How do you know for sure Kyle lied? What if Nick lied? It's hard to decide the truth in this kind of situation because you tend to side with the person you like more. Ask for a witness. If there was none then I don't know. Really, it's not that big of a problem. It's only big if you make a huge deal out of it. If you just ignore it, you will forget later on. If you keep thinking of it, it will probably cause more problems.

I know what you mean about feeling like an idiot, I always feel like that when I like a woman and I'm not sure if she likes me back in a romantic way. You feel like that because you must be an intelligent person.
There is no way to tell who is telling the truth from what you say. Nick may have lied about what Kyle said so that so that you don't become Kyle's g/f (even if he already has one, he may like you better.) Kyle may have said that to Nick so that Nick would stay away from you. They both have a motivation to lie, but only one is.
I think the only way you can tell is to see each of them on a friend only basis and get to know their characters. Of course, the best way to get to know about a boys character is to be around them and watch them before you go out with them. For example; at school, at church, or at some regular extra-curricular activity. I suspect this may have been what you were speaking about when you said that Internet dating was stupid.
At this point, I don't think you can believe either one of them. One option is to not go out with either one of them. That way you are sure that you won't pick the one who is lying.
I think you are a smart enough girl to make a good decision. If you believe in God, you can ask him what to do. He often gives me answers if I am serious in wanting an answer.

Ya, Kyle is trying to steer Nick away from you. It's pretty simple. However, if Nick is flirting with you,I'd watch that. If he'll flirt with and leave his gf for you, then he wouldn't hesistate to do the same thing to you when the next girl comes along. If this Kyle person is really nice, I know he's your friend, but maybe you should get to know him better.

Non-pertinent, kinda: while attempting to furnish a female pal a sprint, in this subject, i'm going to easily constantly be stating how i grew to become into banging some chick and how super it grew to become into and how happy i'm and junk like that. as long as that's different from an 18-365 days old, there is not any vast gamble of her going batshit insane on me. .

ok in a situation like that, its best to just let them work it out between themselves, and one of them will eventually lose interest and you'll have the other to yourself. but make sure whatever happens, you keep the friendship with both of them. dating a friend can be really hard when you break up, it happened to me.
and its ok, you dont have to feel like an idiot. thats how i feel when i ask questions like that on here, but its not like anyone knows us, so the most they can do is say something mean.

don't feel bad, asking questions is the only way to get answers, then you can decide what is right for you, and my answer is that i think nick is right kyle is jealous that you don't like him.
