I personally do find their stuff to be pretty good and fitting my overall style, although I never buy it at full price (they just go too far in their overpricing) or use it in full prep-surfer attire. I personally don't even understand that whole notion of "A&F Lifestyle." If living such a lifestyle means walking around in destroyed jeans and flip-flops, flaunting a ripped body that I don't quite have and having a look in my face that screams "I need to get my hands on some Pepto-Bismol NOW!!," then I guess I'll just pass on it.
The other thing that gets me about this whole thing, although it's a bit out of context, is that some people just say that they don't buy from A&F because it's too preppy or too fake or whatever, and they happily go to other places like Hollister or AE and revel on their "lifestyle," which is basically exactly the same as A&F, only toned down or recast. If you like the whole vibe around this type of clothing, go ahead with it, but don't hate on some places just because is the popular thing to do. We got enough cynicism and irony in this country as it is...

Wow I am so out of it when it comes to basic pop culture I didn't even realize there was a moose. Guess I'm busted. I don't shop there at all and the biggest reason is the store it's self and the help get on my nerves and I even like moose. The few times I've gone in there the kids there are all over you like a bad sweater. Sheesh ... they are as bad as car salesmen.

I don't buy it at all. My mom used to try to force me to wear it in middle school (back when it was at the height of its popularity, and I preferred to wear grunge-style clothes), so I don't like them so much now. I also think they're overpriced and the music is too freakin loud in those stores!

Live what lifestyle? If a shirt, or a pair of jeans define your lifestyle what life do you have? Play a sport, or join the band , or something, those you can pass as "lifestyle" not a stupid shirt.
