I often read your bashing which leaves me woundering how you come to such a ignorant, hateful, anti-american mind set. I often read the bashing of FOX news, now you are aware that FOX news is the number one cable news program hands down. they beat CNN, MSNBC, combined in the ratings (and thats a fact look it up for yourself ) and with the final death of hate radio AIR AMERICA don't you think that maybe, just maybe you libs, and dems really don't know the facts. If you can't help but be stupid I understand, you just can't fix stupid. But I truly hope its just ignorance, because the truth can help you with that. where all americans the enemy is out there.

Am I the only person left in this freaking world that has respect for other people's opinions, views, ideas, and feelings???? Why does everyone have to argue over who's more right or wrong or which side isn't doing whatever. You know, the way I see it, if people feel strongly about something and want to get all crazy about it, either get in a position where you are doing something to change it, or shut up! Does it make you feel important to bash other people for what they believe? I can't stand all the negativity that comes along with talking about politics so unless someone is mature enough to sit down and have an adult conversation and not a "I can talk louder than you so that makes me more right" match, I don't bother talking about politics. I follow what's going on in the country, and I vote. But I also have a family and a life and have better things to do than try to make people feel stupid for feeling they way they do.

Libs want to believe they are the party of the people, but I think most people know the truth. It was obvious in the last two presidential elections. Look at the map....see all the RED states? The democrats get very few states and those are the heavily populated ones with lots of poverty. It's time for libs on here to wake up and smell the coffee. The only reason conservatives don't make as much noise as they do is because we actually have jobs and lives.

This is why they put out bashing stuff to go against the same crap that you all put out. Its a two way street so shut your pie hole and put somthing intelligent on here. Oh and as for your news ratings it is an actual fact for the 10pm news slot THATS IT and that is because the others dont have news on until 11. All of the other time slots during the day are won by MSNBC and ABC news. As for CNN it is the most watched news station throught the entire day period. So get your facts strait.

ok. you're implying that the ratings a show receives reflects how truthful it is? what does the high ratings of fox have to do with facts? ratings reflect one thing - how many people watch a particular show. if you really believe that that translates into truth and factual accuracy, i don't see how you could possibly be in any position to call anybody else ignorant or stupid. If there had been (free and open) television in the 1500's, do you think that Copernicus or the Catholic Church would have higher ratings? More people would have watched the church's teachings, even though Copernicus ended up being right. Ratings reflect popularity and popularity always reflects popular sentiment. Confusing the popularity of a view with its truth is just pathetic.

I agree with one thing you said - we ARE all Americans, and the enemy doesn't care about our politics or anything else. They just want us all dead. Personally I think the whole mess of them in Washington have their collective heads up their @sses. They're too worried about looking good, and appeasing every stinking group that comes down the pike - the communist ACLU, the idealistic Amnesty International, the Pakistani tribes, etc etc etc. We're so busy trying to please everybody and keep them happy, we don't notice the enemy about to come in our back door AGAIN!! And it WILL happen. Under the circumstances, it's inevitable.

Incidentally, I'm Libertarian.

As for your rant about which news is top rated - what's the point? Do ratings have any relationship to accuracy?

You point to the popularity of Fox News. It is very popular; no one ought to question that claim. But something is not ultimately valid because in a particular country it is popular. Al Jazera is the most popular news channel in Arab countries, and Al Jazera takes a very negative view of the United States. So, whose popular news is the good one? The one that reviles the U.S. or the one who lauds it?
A little about Fox News: It was created by a billionaire named Warren Buffet. He wanted something that would appeal more to uneducated persons (who tend to be more conservative as a consequence of being relatively less educated); not so many of those obscure five-syllable words, and not subtly supporting the political views of scholars and scientists. Fox News is quite popular, but this fact does not make it respectable or reputable to those in journalism (degreed persons, of course) who belive that the news ought to eschew outright support of political agendas. All news reportage contains some bias, of course, but Fox News is something entirely new historically.

Well, I'm a liberal, so I'll answer...

But I don't bash Fox News.

Interestingly enough, I find most of the liberals and Democrats in Congress to be complete schmuckbags and idiots when it comes to doing things that are beneficial to the country.

Then again, I feel the same way about the Republicans as well...

I'm neither a liberal or a Democrat but I will tell you that both parties have done much to be ashamed of. So do you really have the right to take a moral high road?

You want high Republican morals? Explain the following list:

*Republican anti-abortion activist Howard Scott Heldreth is a
convicted child rapist in Florida.

* Republican County Commissioner David Swartz pleaded guilty to molesting two girls under the age of 11 and was sentenced to 8 years in prison.

* Republican judge Mark Pazuhanich pleaded no contest to fondling a 10-year old girl and was sentenced to 10 years probation.

* Republican anti-abortion activist Nicholas Morency pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography on his computer and offering a bounty to anybody who murders an abortion doctor.

* Republican legislator Edison Misla Aldarondo was sentenced to 10 years in prison for raping his daughters between the ages of 9 and 17.

* Republican Mayor Philip Giordano is serving a 37-year sentence in federal prison for sexually abusing 8- and 10-year old girls.

* Republican campaign consultant Tom Shortridge was sentenced to three years probation for taking nude photographs of a 15-year

Before I get into being a bastard, I wanna say nice picture and name... I loved Lt. Dan in the movie.. outstanding actor and character.

Ok... time to be an ***.

SHUT UP.

I do not answer for every democrat and liberal out there and you surely do not answer for everyone on your fence. Are you pro-anyone on your side? Hitler was on the right? Ridiculous, eh? To suggest you're just like everyone else. Why... that's COMMUNISM. How ridiculous.

I'm not just any liberal... I'm an indipendant liberal. One who hates the democrat and republican parties and one who hates people like you who make the rest of the politically inclined look foolish. Stop spewing biased messages and open your damned mind. Watch CNN or MSNBC.... I'm liberal and I watch CNN, I talk with conservative people. We have healthy debates. You, my oh-so-clueless friend. Do not understand the meaning of sharing ideas. Ask a worthwhile question or get off of this site.

{EDIT}

In my quick typing I mis-typed.. I meant to say "I'm liberal and I watch Fox".

In addition, you're right... Clinton did lie to America. I do hate him for it. Of course, I don't want to be hypocritical. But if we're going to bring up the last president (whom you people can't seem to get over) lets bring up that in addition to both Clinton and Bush being presidents, both had a 39% approval rating at this time of their presidency (gotten from CNN) and both have lied to America. Come on, he has. Maybe not as huge as lieing under oath, of course, but he lied about various other events. He told us one thing, then another, he's flip-flopped, as you so accused Kerry of doing.

But of course, we're just pitiful little liberals, far below the republican understanding of the world. Just like women, African Americans, and alternative sexualities have been and will be told. Enjoy your egotistical views, fool. In the end you'll feel wonderful about yourself but never get past the idea that the other side is ALWAYS wrong. They can NEVER do something right! NEVER. Not ever. Why don't we just get rid of the left side? Make it 1 party system? Screw the fore-fathers and their ideas of balance. We want to do whatever hte president says? Why? Because he's on our side of the fence, that's all that matters.

Try also reading all of the bashing done here by Conservatives against Liberals.

Actually, both are equally guilty, so don't be so One sided! I think you are the one who doesn't know all the facts.

You prove me right about Conservatives...if you don't agree with them, You are Anti-American.

Your exact words in your statement.
