I think they should stand by him. I don't think Plummer is the problem, our WR's are not getting open. They desperately need to get better. Too bad Lelie was such an asshole.

They have to replace him now. He's not responding under the pressure. Everything in Denver is good... running game, recievers, defense, Plummer "should" be good, but he's looking over his shoulder and worried about the kid taking his place. People refer to this as choking under pressure. Where does this put the Bronco's if they make the playoffs?
Denver fans are used to the biggest pressure QB of all time, John Elway. They will not tolerate this too much longer. The kid has the goods... If I were the HC, if Plummer played one more poor game, I make the switch. The Bronco's have the running game to keep the offense balanced in the Kids favor. Rothlesberger, both Mannings, even Kyle Orton of the Bears last year won some big games as rookies.
Granted preseason is preseason, but the kid can flat out play, has a rocket, and is probably the most pin point accurate QB I've seen since (dare I say?) Dan Marino. Outside of the Chargers, and it's still debateable if they are real... What better division does this kid have to win as a rookie? It's there for the taking. Plummer will lose this divsion, you can see it in his eyes. That will be a shame for the talented Broncos. Make the switch.

Jake plummer has 30+ wins (34 I believe) and only 15 losses in his career. This guy went from Mr. I-N-T to tossing only 7 last year. True--he is up to 4 already this year, but that is the nature of football. It is the beginning of the year, and he didn't get much pre-season action due to Cutler getting most the playing time.
Jake has experienced high-stakes playoff football, and he tasted defeat last year in the title game...he is hungry to get past that level to the super bowl this year.
Just because he started out a slow in weeks 1&2 doesn't mean he won't pick it up (like last year).
The reason he seems slow is because he is getting accustomed to being back in the groove. He is an athelete and will make up for lost time very shortly. I believe the last drive of Sunday's game with Kansas City was an indicator of how he will play @ New England next week.
Jay Cutler is going to be the Broncos' horse of the future (pardon the pun), but not this year. Jake has so much experience facing real NFL defenses, which Jay Cutler did NOT get in college.
It's great to get everyone hyped about the kid, for ESPN, but for the real NFL? No way.

The Broncos have no choice, they have to play Plummer. They feel they are in contention and Plummer will give them the best chance.
Plummer played very well last year, but was terrible in the playoffs. I think he hasn't gotten over that yet.

I'd stay with Plummer. Cutler is not ready yet. Shanahan will get this thing straightened out soon. Denver has a very tough schedule over the next few games, so I really don't expect them to win all those games against New England, Baltimore, then later against Indy and Pittsburgh. They do need to come out of the Pittsburgh game with a record of at least 4-4 to have a real chance for the playoffs IMHO.

The Broncos have to stay with Plummer. This team is built to win now, so they can't be breaking in a rookie QB. Some Bronco fans want the kid, you can read it here. http://www.broncoslocker.com/

Stick with Jake Plummer. He has proven he can get them to the playoffs and win. Cutler hasn't done nottin. We'll all forget about Plummers bad start in a few weeks. He's just having a bad start, he'll just get better and better.
