He might not be alive anymore. That show was on PBS a long time ago... I remember meeting the cast and taking a pic with the dog at a promotional event at FAO Schwartz in New York City in 1996 or 1997. The dog's owners were on the same tour as my family at the UN building, but that's another story.

I don't think that this show is still on TV, to tell you the truth, I haven't seen it on in a long time, you could try looking it up on the web and see what you can find out that way.
