I am trying to insert a tampon because people tell me it is more comfortable. I tried putting one in but i cannot find the right spot. I know it is the middle hole, but i just cant get it up. I have tried using a mirrow and putting my leg on a toilet seat, help!?

If you still have your hymen, it's better to use a junior size tampon.

First you can not freak out! Just relax your muscles! Either sit on the toilet seat or be in a comfortable squat position take the tampon put it in a little bit then angle about 45 degree or toward your lower back and just let it go in. Start off with the smallest tampon you can find then when your more experienced move up to bigger or how ever your flow is. It might be helpful for a new-be to tampons try the OB tampons without an applicator because all you do is put it at the tip of your finger and push up!

You can stand to do it, you don't need a mirror! If it hurts do not use them. Just sit down on the toilet and slowly push at an angle upward until your fingers are touching your skin. If you can feel it after awhile take it out and don't use them!

Some girls(including me) could not use them until after they have had sex.

u just need to relax ur muscles and when it feels like its stuck it just needs a little more push then u'll feel its in cause ur fingers Will be in and then u should be able to push out and the tampon wont move and u shouldn't hardly be able to tell its in there

some ppl just cant wear them, and sometimes i cant get them in either, i figure my body is rebelling at those times, lol. if you are dry its a real pain to get them in, try wetting the area or lubricating it slightly. you can also try rotating the tampon and starting with the smallest size and working your way up.

Follow the directions exactly. Try using a little Vaseline (or generic petroleum gel).
