Yes, I can tell the difference, can't you? A goose is usually a lot taller than a duck. The neck stands taller. He is just a larger bird than a duck. A goose has a louder voice than a duck.

Yes it is a simple distinction...

when someone says "duck" you may soon feel pain if you don't react.. but if someone says "goose?" you may feel a pinch on the bum if you don't react.
Given the choice if I were you I would choose Goose...
