Usually, the only way a player is taking off a "can't cut list" is that he's put on the DL for the rest of the season for various injuries or Yahoo! Fantasy Sports recognized as a player that has no trade value due to injuries and takes them a week or two to remove them from the "can't cut" list. I know that because two years ago, when Priest Holmes was gone for the season, I had to wait two weeks to cut him because he was still on the "can't cut" list (where you can't release him, but trade him). Most rookie studs are not on the can't cut list, like Liriano, Weaver or Papelbon, so you don't have to worry about that.

AN ACT OF GOD the only way is for yahoo to do it. I recently HAD HAFNER removed also D LEE and J KENT. basically it takes a season ending injury or a long trip to the DL list,if you have more than one on the cant cut list.

the league manager/commish in YOUR league has the option to change that setting on a player that gets hurt. the manager/commish is the person who set up the league and is the only person with that authority.

just message your manager but if he doesn't act you are stuck with hafner or whoever got hurt.
