if ur working u need at least 7-8 hours of sleep.. if not then its ok to have 6-7 hours.

The average is 8 hours. Some people need less sleep yet, too there are people who require more, such as 9-10 hours. Key: listen to your body!

the average adult from what i hear only need about 6 but in my opinion i think that a women needs about 8 because she works inside and outside the home and deals with kids to and if she doesnt get enough and is cranky her hubby says shes rude or mean when we are just plain tired.

well it actually depends on the person but if ur average and pretty healthy-med books will tell u around 6-8 hours a night! I know people who live on alot less and i know people who cant function on any less and require 8-12hrs!

I think eight hours sleep is still the "doctor's advise" in order to be rested and alert!
