I have a buncle of 4.7GB CD's (from USA) I could not open them and read them or write them our systems say "please insert a disk in the drive" when I try to write, this.
Let me know if there is any other software to read and write this CD. I have tried to write them at 4 offices till now, but i can't do. The name of the CD is "magnavox DVD"

Thay are not CDs. They are DVDs. They can be written by any competent DVD writer. From one of your previous questions, it appears that you are from India. A DVD writer wil cost you a little more than Rs. 2500. There is no software available that will enable your CD writer to read (or write) the DVDs. Now, there are different types of DVDs (+R, -R. A simple search on Yahoo! or Google will inform you about this). So make sure that the DVD writer supports the format of the DVDs that you have (although all the commonly available DVD writers support a wide range of formats).

My guess is that you have bought DVDs and are trying to burn them using a CD writer, the CD-ROM or writer is incapable of reading DVD disks, you should either return them to shop, or buy a DVD writer instead of your CD writer.
