If it is only the top that needs fixing then you will only get top braces. Most of the time however when the top teeth are out of line then the bottom teeth are also. If you are concerned about how having only the top braces then you should try invisaline. They are invisible clear braces. Talk to your dentist, if you need braces then the dentist will help you choose what is going to be right for you.

yes, i have them on the top, but later i will need them on the bottom. I think the reason so is if you a problem about your jaw (or lower teeth), or possibly if you have perfect bottom teeth. I would ask your dentist if you could only get it on the top, but for some reason you will most likely get both in the end.

Yes. I had 4 braces on the top, a stretcher, and a retainer on the bottom. My teeth were pretty messed up. But it is possible to only have them on the top.

You only get braces on what teeth need them. Your dentist may find something that you cant see with your own untrained eyes on your top teeth that need correction. Maybe an over or under bite or something.

Yes you can request for just the top to be done only. But it is still best to do on both the upper and lower, coz your bite will be more even and look better :)

All I can say is the dentist knows best. But who's to say which dentist? Just get a couple different PROFESSIONAL opinions and which ever one is the option you like best, go 4 it!

That's something you need to discuss with your dentist.
