Yes, love it.
Cold noodles are very popular in Japan in the Summer,
soba (buckwheat) noodles,
ramen (chinese) noodles,
rice noodles.

Noodle soup is popular in the winter, soba noodles or "chunky" udon noddles. Ramen (chinese noodles in meat broth) is popular all year round and there are many variations on flavours.

yaki "fried" soba is a simple dish anyone can make, it comes with a sauce, just add some cabbage and meat (if you eat meat) its also often sold at festivals.

I don't eat noodle salad much but it is available.

yes, very yummy.
I like all kinds of noodles!
I'd have noodle soup for brekkie (since its the only thing they sell). Fried noodle -too much energy, I'd save for weekend. Noodle salad and chilled noodle is convenient for takeaway lunch ..and if you dont want to cook for a week!
The best dish I've ever had is Singaporean/Malaysian dry noodle dish with fried CK in garlic sauce. Mmm yum

Try this
Make a package of Top Ramen but do not add the seasoning yet
boil the noodles then when done drain out all the water. Then add only half of the package of the seasoning. Mix then add cheese that will melt and mix . Then add a can of tuna , drained of course. Then a few chopped up jalepeno peppers. a few slices not a few peppers. then add some canned corn if you like and then add 2 spoons of mayonaise.Mix everything together and then eat with nacho chips . before boiling the noodles break them up first

Soba noodles, cold Japanese buckwheat noodles with dipping sauce. My gf loves them, they're ok, but I prefer Vietnamese noodle soup called Pho.

As for cooked/fried noodles I think the thick Chinese noodles are best, called Ho Fun.

Fettuccine is just another form of noodle, from Italy, which goes great with boscaiola sauce.

My favorite is a Korean dish called mul naengmyun.
Take a big bowl of cold beef broth, add noodles (they use buckwheat but I suppose it could be anything), cucumber slices, asian pear slices, a couple slices of brisket, a hard boiled egg,and pretty much anything else you care to add, and here's the tasty part - you add vinegar and mustard according to your taste to make the broth spicy. This is traditional food for a hot summer day. If there's a Korean restaurant near you, go there and try this and everything else on the menu - Korean food is the best!
