Similarities exist between the E of G, and Hindi/Hindu traditions. Many stories are told and retold, like the epic flood is repeated in Hindi tradition, the two deities of Good and Evil man. The far east take a different slant on religion. Almost an apophatic approach as opposed to the kapaphatic ways of Western religion.

I can't reemmber the name of the story, but I know that it is in one of the Joeseph Campbell books. I think the one about the Orient. I believe there are three. Only read the first one, it's a good read, wish I could find the time for the others. Have them, just can't settle in to read.
