I have been trying to file a complaint for over an hour now. Why can't they just simply direct me to the right place to complain to instead of sending me here, here, here, here, and none of which answers my question. I got ripped off by somebody. This same guy, I found out, sold the same laptop on I bid free, ebay and yahoo. I bought and paid for it paid in April. And now nobody wants to know nothing. Ebay says he's no longer allowed to sell on their site.. ibid free says he's no longer allowed to sell, and yahoo just ignores me. What's up? Anybody tell me how i can contact Yahoo and complain to prevent him from selling the same laptop yet again? Yahoo just keeps ignoring me and sending me to stupid places which have nothing to do with my qestion or complaint. How do I finally get somebody from yahoo to listen before this guy sells the same laptop for the 4th time?, which I already bought and paid for back in April!!!

Yahoo doesn't want to talk with you, annoying isn't it? They are starting to do that with all their services, and it is making me a little mad.
If you write www.abuse@yahoo.com then they will probably just send you a link to their FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions).
If you paid between $25 and $10,000 then you are covered by the Yahoo Buyer Protection plan which is administered by cynoSure Financial.
You can contact them at:
33490 Harper Avenue
Clinton Township, MI 48035
Phone: 586-771-334 Fax: 586-771-4590
You will need to download and read the Adobe PDF file:
http://www.cynosurefinancial.com/warranty.html
If that doesn't work then contact the company directly through their form at: http://www.cynosurefinancial.com/contactus.asp
Now for the bad news: "In order for your claim to be valid, you must file it within 60 days after the close of auction. This means that your claim form and all required information or supporting documentation must be postmarked by the 60th day after the close of auction."
Yes, I hate the "help" runaround that Yahoo sends you through. Yahoo used to have a "Contact Us" link, but they don't seem to want people to do that anymore. Luckily your problem isn't unique and there is a procedure to handle it.
I am sorry to hear that you got ripped off. It is hard to get your money back from such a situation; I hope that cynoSure will be able to help you. I am afraid that it is even harder to do something to the criminal who ripped you off. All he has to do is to steal someone’s identity and he can use that information to go on the three auction boards and sell your notebook computer another 3 times. That makes me mad! If you have the sellers address, and it is not just a post office box, then I would file a FBI report. The FBI will be involved since they handle commerce over a state boundary.

It is quite obvious from your story that you are a victim of a crime.
Why don't you take copies of your emails, credit card purchase if used or payed by other means for the laptop to your local police or FBI if you reside in the United States.
Quite sure that in every country you will find the local police with the tools and knowledge to catch this guy as it appears he/she is going to sell the same laptop over an over.
www.abuse@yahoo.com --Hope you have an email from this person as you will be required to go into "options", "mail", and check mark "full header", then you must forward the email as an "inline message".
Without the full header I doubt you get any response. Plus I have always had the feeling that they outsource all of their support to some backward country where there is cheap labor.
You ask them a question and they send back the same question you asked without any answer. Drives a person out of their mind.
Myself I use, "Interpol", as they are reliable and will always trace the criminal to the country where they reside and take criminal action. As for the FBI, they don't do anything.
Please don't ever purchase anything on the internet. Alot easier & safer to go out and purchase what you want. Atleast you know when you pay for the item you can walk out of the store with it safe and sound.
Some people learn by a road of hard knocks.
All I can say is on an emotional level that you will have to consider this a learning experience.
Very sorry you are a victim.

Ugh. scammers.
Well, the only thing you can probably do is build your own website to advise other buyers to not buy anything from this person.
You can make one at
www.tripod.com
It's free so you can publish your word out for that guy.
I don't really know what you can do in order to get this guy...maybe you can try to find out more information about this person...like where you sent the money to. That's why...you should never buy online. They'll just rip you off...

first of all, I the two love Yahoo! solutions and Yahoo! 360 inspite of the incontrovertible fact that they are 2 numerous issues. What i like approximately Y! solutions is which you get to help human beings around the globe on the flaws that hardship them or they are purely fascinated by. maximum of all, you get to share your know-how to others which for me is a great deal. i individually do no longer use my Y! 360 account that lots yet i could desire to declare that it extremely is efficient coz it helps me stay linked to the human beings i quite cherish the main like my pals and kinfolk..And it helps me to advance my creativity and use my complicated suggestions.. desire this solutions your question..
