*He hasn't taken away freedom of speech otherwise people wouldn't be bashing him on here or TV.
*He hasn't taken away freedom of religion. Otherwise everyone in the US would be Christian.
*He hasn't taken away freedom petition. I just signed a petition yesterday over the issues in Darfur.
*He hasn't taken away freedom of press. Take a look at the all the critics writing about him.
*He hasn't taken away freedom of assembly. We have had so many prostest over the War on Terrorism and Bush as president.
So someone please tell me. What right has Bush taken away from us? I don't see any that he taken away.

Okay, so you have the first amendment covered. It's the fourth that most people are concerned about. For instance, authorizing warrantless wiretaps against American citizens is clearly prohibited. Part of his terror stragety includes putting people (americans, too) in jail with no charges, no right to an attorney, with the burden of proof on them, for indefinite periods of time. And all that would be a great way to stop terrorists. If only we knew which ones were terrorists. But with no trials, no weighing of the evidence, and relying sometimes only on hearsay or phonelogs, we have no idea who's behind bars. And if you think these people all just have to be dangerous terrorists, why are some of them being released by the hundreds, with no explanation?

compared to what? he allows what he can't stop by lending
a deaf ear . Freedom of speech for a politician is only freedom of dishonesty, Freedom of religion is only freedom to be an opiated puppet, Freedom of petition is only freedom of hot air,Freedom of the press is only propaganda tainted news and muddled reporting , Freedom of assembly and when was the last time it did anything good our apathy won't allow it not since the civil rights era has it actually meant anything to a placated society . Did he placate u with false analysis and phony promises....There is very little real freedom one can fight for and nothing to die for......Mostly these blind patriots are just proliferating Bovine fecal matter....

After the September 11 attacks, with virtually no debate, Congress passed and President Bush signed the USA PATRIOT Act. There are significant flaws in the Patriot Act, flaws that threaten your fundamental freedoms by giving the government the power to access to your medical records, tax records, information about the books you buy or borrow without probable cause, and the power to break into your home and conduct secret searches without telling you for weeks, months, or indefinitely.

President Bush ( aka The Dictator ) stirs such fury in this kinfolk, he's watched as low as achieveable. This fool tries to place across despite his speech writers prefer him to declare ( or Chaney ). perhaps if we could desire to get our palms on a number of those tin foil hats (thank you, gildamcge), we could desire to take a seat by this idiots dribble. He stole the 1st election. God purely is conscious how he have been given in a 2d term. with a bit of luck the idiots who voted for him two times will stay abode next election day in the event that they could't make saner alternatives. Terrorism is incorrect. however the Bible speaks "of wars and rumors of wars..." this could be with us as time lasts. although i could sense lots extra constructive if we had an sensible President looking out for our wellbeing

He has taken away our fourth amendment right against unreasonable search and seizure. He has taken away our fifth amendment right of due process of law. He has greatly infringed upon our right to freedom of travel. He has taken away our right to privacy. He has overthrown the Constitutional limitations of his office, thereby taking away the People's right to govern via delegated powers.

He is trying to take away our right to buy virtually non traceable prepaid cell phones, and call afghanastan during a time of war without it possibly be monitored to make sure we are not terrrorists.

HOW DARE HE! Its in the constitution that I should be able to do this!

I guess some of these morons above me don't realize that the patriot act is not a blanket that covers every search. They just do what liberals like to do, and listen to 5% of something, and draw conclusions about it.
