If Bush make start doing all these as mentioned in question American will suffer this time. Iran will not prove to be a picinic for americans. This is the reason he is looking for a regime change in Iran. This will never happen as Israel has experienced from Hezbollah

Obviously you either didn't hear or pay attention to the Bush speech at the UN today. He did not suggest any regime change other than one instigated by Iranians.
Most Iranians would probably rather not live under a theocracy of the type the Mullahs have imposed. Nobody wants a war between the U.S. and Iran except for a few uninformed crazies.
Iran has a larger population and its armed forces are much better equipped and trained than Iraq was.
A democratic Iran would greatly benefit all of Southwest Asia, especially the Iranian people, who have never had a government that put them first.

It's amazing to me how many people here seem to be able to read minds and predict the future- impressive.
Your question is more of a statement, but had it been asked properly the response I would give is:
What the Iranian people want means nothing, the dictator has shown over the years that he clearly does only what is in his interest and that of his partners. He consistently sells out his people's rights and wealth to acquire more power and solidify and create new partner countries.
The Iranian government has already indicated that this race for nukes is just a very intelligent bargaining chip... the world (mainly the US) will end up paying him and his government great sums of money to stop the production lines there. Monetary aid, infrastructure loans that the govt "forgets to collect", as well as trade agreements that do not work in anyone's interest other than the Iranians.
As for whether they like us our not... I don't care and I would much prefer we exploit alternative fuels and cut them out entirely... then as they completely run out of money and collapse from within we supplant the dictator.

I'm sure he doesn't want to see Iran become the most influential power hub of the region, if that answers your question.
What can he get away with to stop it happening? Well, that's a different box of chocolates altogether!

There are plenty of contractors that helped get him elected that stand to profit off of more war. So, yes.
