There is no clinical research that proves it works. I wouldn't lend it much credence.

I manage an auto parts store in Coos Bay, Oregon. I had an employee who was obsessed with loosing weight. Tim got a hold of a book called, "Eating for Your Blood Type." I don't know who wrote it or who published it, but I remember the book. He carried it all over the place and treated like it was a holy book. He followed that diet to the letter, never straying from the formula. Two months later he ended up in the hospital because he wasn't taking the right amounts of nutrient because of that diet. If he had not listened to the doctor about his eating habits he would have died within a few months. Your body needs ALL the food groups, not just a few based on what blood type flows through your veins. It is estimated the future health problems caused by the recent low carb diet might cripple our health care system in about 30 years, because of what the withholding of that nutrient has done to the long term health of those who followed it. Stay as far away as you can from so called "fad diets." My Father had the same reaction when he went on a "high protein" diet in the late 60's. Tim had it with the "eating for your blood type" diet. I imagine the next quick fix will have just as devastating effect to those who choose to follow it.

Hi ! Yes, there is a book called Eating Right for your Type. It is great. I loved the book. There is a lot more in it than just what to eat for your type. There is history of types and lots of facts that will enlighten everyone. I don't know off the top of my head what AB+ should eat because I am only A+ and I can tell you all about A. When I followed this diet I lost 90 lbs and have tons of energy!I hope you check the book out- it will answer all of your questions. Best of luck.

I read something about this earlier today. It said that people with my type (A-) should eat a vegeterian diet. I don't believe it nor should you. The human body is the human body, regardless of blood type. It's just someone trying to create another "fad". Just eat a balanced diet and stop worrying about what someone thinks you should eat based on your blood type.

"Love Mylife" has it right.
There is no harm in reading the book and making your own descision.
D'Adamo and his father did extensive research in the area of blood types and the associated antigens.
The information within the book is worthwhile.

read a copy of Eat Right 4 Your Type by D'Adamo. I can tell when I "cheat"--it makes me feel awful and brings back the migraines--I am NOT a diet freak but this one works for me. info also available on their website

wonderful (yet fake) analogy. Your previously analogy grow to be drawing parallels between the toddler form of a undeniable species, to the person form of a undeniable species. then you incredibly attempt to equivocate this to human infants to the profession of their mum and dad. >greater learn shows, that in the time of contrast to quite a few different animal, they hardly grew as much as be what their mentioned want grow to be. not purely that, however the "animals" you indexed interior the 1st component to your analogy do not incredibly exhibit wakeful desires for specific professions, do they?
