Why is it that every time I go into a yahoo Chat room I get IMed by some African male who after 5 mins of chating is telling me that he loves me and wants to be with me? Sometimes they haven't even seen my pic yet. They don't even know me from a can of paint. 1 time this african said "I know I love you cause God has bought us together". Please God don't want me 2 be with you!! If you are looking for a Greencard I am Not The ONE!!!!!

Let me tell you a few things about chat rooms. I use to spend a lot of time in them. I was even in chat rooms long before the Internet became the popular monster that it has become.

One thing you are going to find in the chat rooms is a lot of people sending links. They are either trying to sell something, promote one website or another, or get someone to look at their personal ad on some singles website (usually, they don't have a profile, which makes me wonder what kind of personality they have). Then, there are the lairs, scammers, and the pick collectors/traders.

Don't get me wrong, there are some honest people in the chat rooms, who are there to meet new people and chat. You just have to be careful about the ones that are out to steal or scam you out of something, so just be careful someone doesn't try to scam you out of money.

By the way, there aren't just Africans in the chat rooms. There are people of all races, genders, and nationalities. One time, several years ago, I caught a guy from Ireland trying to hack into my computer and I traced him back to his ISP and reported him.

Africans and Arab Muslims, don't forget them either.

I am a Babalawo, and do readings and such. Every Muslim man I have ever dealt with wants me to do a love spell on some woman they just meant. This has happened every time, like 4 or 5 times, never fails.

FIRST OF ALL YOU CAN'T SAY IT IS ONLY AFRICAN MEN WHO DO IT, ALL MEN DO. MOST GUYS ARE LOOKING FOR A DATE OR MRS. RIGHTNOW AND KNOW WOMEN TEND TO USE ON LINE "LOOKING FOR THE ONE" SO THEY SAY WHAT THEY THINK YOU WANT TO HEAR . USUALLY THE NEXT QUESTION AFTER ASL IS WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE AND DO YOU HAVE A PIC, IF THEY LIKE WHAT THEY SEE THEY START WITH THE "BS"
