Yahoo! does not sell DSL service. Your local AT&T/Bell telephone service provider sells DSL service that is backed up with software licensed by Yahoo! Primarily, DSL is a product of telephone companies, operating over telephone lines. Any other company that sells it, does so with the permission of the parent phone company in your area, per FCC regulations regarding fair trade practices.

I don't know about yahoo selling DSL as a service but yahoo comes as one of the options with the Verizon DSL service package.

Yahoo dont sell DSL service. If you have at&t dsl high speed internet - they are hooked up with yahoo website - in which you can check ur email using the yahoo mail website.

No, they just partner up with the major telephone companies to provide premium web content and e-mail for their dial-up and broadband customers. Here's a description of the AT&T service:
