Yes he is, and it's sad, very sad that society has sunk to such levels. I could not agree more, let him rest in peace.

Yes I agree, for those that say you know him come on you saw a television persona and frankly I would be surprised if many of you actually did any thing for conservation in general before he was killed... I understand you are moaning his death but whether you say how wonderful, what a hero or whatever now that he is gone isn't that rather self gratifying...he isn't going know any of it. Perhaps if people practised what they preach and volunteered for some conservation group or something you would be honouring his memory as he probably wanted you too rather than riding on his shirt tail....as I have said I understand your need to grieve but that can be done quietly. No matter how much you talk about him he won't come back from the dead!
People are exploiting his name and to me that is a big insult to his family and true friends, do they need to be reminded every single day what they already knew? People that say have respect for the dead well perhaps respecting the dead is doing the work he wanted people to do rather than talking about him.

I believe that he's resting in peace,and,because of that,he's far above exploitation. From what I've accessed on Animal Planet's web site about him,his family,and their zoo,I think Animal Planet has an outstanding memorial to him,and to their work. Also, it's the same with the Animal Planet TV network,rerunning some of his old Crocodile Hunter programs.

Of course he is.. that is the American way, don't you know. Exploit, exploit, exploit. But to be fair.. he did the same for his proffession.

yeah man because he is dead and every time they show it on tv it makes me sadder just give it a rest let him party iun heaven without looking down on his life being exploted
