Hitler wrote it in prison in the 1920s, after he'd been locked up for trying to start a putsch (kind of like a coup) in Munich. The first part is about his early life (though it's highly unreliable), the second part is his attempt at describing what he thought Nazism was all about.
A summary is very difficult to provide as the book is a mess; I've read it and I know. Hitler was an incredibly long-winded, pompous, humourless and occasionally barking mad writer, and the text rambles all over the place. He's constantly comparing Jews and Judaism to disease, insects, parasites and so on, which doesn't make it any more enjoyable, and he talks a lot of half-baked crap about history and race.
Here and there, though, there are a few canny observations about the effect of mass propaganda and the appeal of totalitarianism. That, he knew about. The rest is more or less rubbish, although if people had taken it more seriously when it was first published then he might have been stopped sooner, because the evidence of the book is that this man should never have been allowed to lead a modern industrial nation.

Mein Kampf means, "My Struggle"..it was written by Adolph Hitler in the 1920's while he was in prison. It was an outline of his plans to rid Europe of the Jews and to spread the German influence around the world. Hitler could not type.....he dictated this book to Rudolph Hess who typed it for him.................

Mein kampf is "My Struggle" in Deutch (German). Hitler is not CONSIDERED EVIL, he was the very essence of evil. Mein Kampf is the most turgid book possible. But Hitler did follow the plan he laid out in this ":book". Nobody much paid any attention and that was to be a tragedy.
