we were talking about intolerance and all of the wars that happened through out history.and basically it all came down to one thing.selfishness empowered by intolerance.the catholics and the protestants, blacks and whites and whomeever, iraq and the us, christianity and islam..someone in the class said that well the wars were necessary because unity is better than nothing.i said forced unity is NOT considered unity but a sort slavery for whatever the intolerance was.someone else said that yes they should have a war to defend themselves for the opprsssors.it all came down to what should we do to get rid of intolerance.someoe said love, the other said through war.when the teacher came to me.i said i would go in every single person's house from where i live to the end of the world, make sure i get everys sngle person and just shot them.once everyone is dead and i'm the only one alive there woulndt be any more intolerance.like who else can i intolerate? myself? ur opinion? what would u do

i guess when hitler killed all the jews and blacks and homosexuals it wasnt out of tolerance but the love he had for them right? if that sint a form of intolerance i dont know what it!

I think you should receive and A+ for the insight about intolerance. You might go a little further about the source of intolerance though. I suspect you will find fear, sincere belief, and other qualities also behind it. That being the case, will love cure all of these?
Ultimately, some intolerants can only be overcome through sacrifice...of ourselves, not them, which is indeed love. Good question.

Your answer reminds me of a book I once read whereby the females of the Earth killed all of the males and then used the sperm banks to impregnate themselves and repopulate the Earth. They were then able to teach the new baby boys from birth how to behave without the influence, prejudices, and anger of the males.
Would this actually work? I don't know as I have seen some really bad behavior by women as well, but it would probably be a pretty good start especially if you ever watch TV and see all of the angry men yelling and hollering and raising their fists........

Killing and violence are never the answer. I know I spent 16 years in the Army Special Forces we never really solved anything, just changed the face of it. The only real way to rid the world of selfishness and intolerance is to rid it of fear. The only way that can be done is through love, peace and trust, for and in your fellow man or woman.

Unlike you, I do not condone genocide of the human race, or find the notion to be amusing. Not all wars are because of "intolerance." That's a very simplistic viewpoint. Wars are over policies, aggressors, genocide, resources, acts of violence. Hitler's plans of domination over Europe was not out of "intolerance." It was out of a madman perspective. He believed that the Aryan race was a past superior life form that was represented by his modern day Germans, and he enabled a propaganda machine to brainwash his own people. He went crazier every year. It wasn't intolerance, it was insanity. It was about global domination with him as the supreme ruler. I could continue with other wars. Most older ones were about conquest, not intolerance. The Romans were incredibly tolerant as long as everyone remained peaceful, yet they were the instruments of great numbers of wars to bring about their dominant empire. The Bolshevik revolution was not about intolerance. It was about a social and political shift brought on by the lack of resources for the masses, as well as many other things. The history of the world and warfare won't fit here, but it is not a simplistic pat answer, such as "intolerance."
