They see black as white and white as black. Their brains are wired backwards.
Bush ignored a memo titled "Bin Laden Determined to Attack Within the US" and they blame Clinton.
Bin Laden hasnt been caught and they think Bush is tough on terrorism.
etc.

If George Bush had recommended himself for purple hearts like Kerry did (from self inflicted wounds), he would also have some.
Just a note: when you ask a question, and your sentence has two parts, you might consider using a semicolon between them. When the next sentence starts, consider punctuating. It helps anyone trying to answer and makes you look more intelligent. For example, "Why do republicans call Kerry a wimp; he has two purple hearts." How many does Bush have?" OR, you could say, "Why do republicans call Kerry a wimp? He has two purple hearts. How many does Bush have?" I'm sure you'll be more clear in future questions.

Don't stereotype. I'm not a republican and I thought Kerry was a wimp. I have very leftist ideas. Doesn't mean I support Bush either. I know a bad candidate when I see one and it angers me that the best the democratic party could come up with to fight a fool like George Bush was John Kerry. Seriously. All of you anti-Bush people yell and moan and whine but in the end... you weren't able to get someone better than him.... If he was he woulda been elected. Don't even whine about a conservative conspiracy either.
Both sides suck. Democrats are lost and clueless, Conservatives are closed-minded.

The Swift Boat Vets revealed Kerry didn’t deserve the first of three Purple Heart medals he got because his “injury” was from a tiny fragment of shrapnel that resulted from him firing an M-79 grenade launcher against the nearby shore from the deck of his boat. The former Navy commander said Louis Letson, the base physician, saw Kerry and used tweezers to remove a tiny piece of shrapnel – about 1 centimeter in length and 2 millimeters in diameter – from the lieutenant j.g.’s (junior grade) forearm.
“Letson confirmed that the scratch had been self-inflicted when Kerry clumsily used the M-79.”

kerry has 3 purple hearts , and maybe this is why they call him a wimp
A number of the combat commanders, fellow officers and other men who served with Sen. John Kerry in Vietnam have challenged his accounts of combat heroism in a new book, "Unfit for Command"
"In the history of Swift Boats in Vietnam, all military personnel served a tour of duty of at least one year unless seriously wounded. Among the few exceptions was John Kerry, who requested to leave Vietnam in 1969 after four months, citing a regulation that permitted release of personnel with three Purple Hearts...None of Kerry's three Purple Hearts was for serious injuries. They were minor scratches, resulting in no lost duty time.
Each of these decorations is controversial, with considerable evidence (and in two cases, incontrovertible and conclusive evidence) that the injuries were caused BY HIS OWN HAND and not the result of hostile fire. "

You ask too many questions. You'll be in the minus
category soon. Some people get purple hearts on
purpose, like standing up when the enemy is shooting
at you instead of staying low in your bunker. I think he
got a splinter in his finger and cried out to get to the
military hospital. Poor Kerry, he really is a wimp.

I learned 2 things from the Republicans in the last election.
1. Support our troops. No matter what.
2. A purple heart doesn't mean a thing. They hand them out like cookies.

As usual the Republicans dirty tricks of 2004 election and the war record of Kerry was used against him and attacks on the loyalty of Max Clevlend show how low the Republicans will go in the gutter of politics.

Because Kerry first supported the war and the patriot act whenever things were hot and heavy, now that something is being done about the war on terror, he is no longer supporting the war on terrorism in order to get a bunch of hippie and islam liberal votes, so that he can try to get into office

Because Kerry wants to run from the terrorists and ask other governments before we can defend our country. Kerry was once a man but now he is the biggest coward.

Purple Hearts are an indication of getting at least a band-aid.
Kerry originally signed up for the Navy to avoid combat zones. He got reassigned to swift boats, where he got busy collecting injuries to get back out (in about 3 months).
Bush became a fighter pilot and flew F-102 interceptor missions. The F-102 was a hazardous plane to fly. His squadron was not assigned to Vietnam as some other F-102s were.
I think Kerry got called a 'wimp' for such actions as throwing somebody else's medals over the White House fence and using fake 'veterans' to testify and generate resentment against the war effort. He did not behave with honor and was therefore scorned by those who believe in integrity, especially in the military.
Kerry's actions were apparently part of Communist Vietcong's strategy to demoralize and defeat America from within. After the war, the Communist commanders made this clear and hung a picture of Kerry in their war museum.
