greetings...
first thing i would do is convert 1 1/2 to an improper fraction
1 1/2 = 3/2
now write 3/5 / 3/2
remember that to divide a fraction simply invert the denominator and multply ...
or... 3/5 * 2/3 => 3/5 * 2/3
= 6 / 15
= 2 / 5
you could have skipped the 6/15 step if you noticed that there was a factor of 3 in the numerator and the denominator and cancelled them out
Hope this helps...
Good luck...

3/5 % 1 1/2
= 3/5 % 3/2 (because 1 1/2 = 1 + 1/2 = 2/2 + 1/2 = 3/2)
= 3/5 * 2/3 (switch from divided by to times and flip the numerator and the denominator)
= 1/5 * 2/1 (cross out the 3 on the top and the matching 3 on the bottom, this works because two fractions are being multiplied together)
= 2/5 (because 1*2=2 and 5*1=5)

1 1/2 = 3/2
3/5 divided by 3/2
Dividing by 3/2 is the same as multiplying by 2/3
Cancel the threes
You get 2/5

1 1/2 can be written as 3/2(numerator is obtained as (2*1)+1 and denominator is ,given one i.e. 2)
(3/5) / (3/2) can be written as (3/5) * (2/3) ,b'coz denominator's denominator comes to numerator,therefore 2 comes to numerator.
Cancelling both 3, as one in numerator & the other in denominator, the resulting fraction we obtain is (2/5)
2/5 = 0.4
Thus, (3/5) / (1 1/2) is 0.4
