Did you try the Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula? It is a Massage lotion for stretch marks: has vitamin E, collagen, elastin, and shea butter. They have 2 formulas- one to prevent stretch marks and one to prevent and reduce stretch marks. Worked great for me- and I had awful stretch marks! Now can hardly see them. Still itched at times, but it did give some immediate relief. I also found a shea butter product at bath and body works that was soothing. Good luck.

You could try "Mother's Friend", but I warn you, nothing really works. It's mostly genetics- if your mother got stretch marks, then chances are you will too- to an extent it is pre-programmed how much your skin can stretch without developing stretch marks. Keeping the skin supple will help, but if you get big enough and the skin has to stretch too much, then if you're going to get them, you're going to get them, no matter what you do. It sucks I know. Actually, I think "Bag Balm" if good stuff- works better at keeping the moisture in the skin. No matter what you use, make sure you use it at least twice a day, and massage it in for several minutes- this will help some. The best advice is to watch your weight and try to only gain what your doctor recommends (usually 25-30 pounds). Unfortunately, if you already have them, at 5 1/2 months, then you are probably going to have a lot more before it's over with. Trust me, I have them terrible, but eventually you get over it. The baby is well worth even the worse stretch marks, and they will fade over time.

Well, you might as well face it now; they are pretty much unavoidable, since your belly has never held as much weight in that capacity before, and as your body swells with fluid and baby, your skin will have to stretch. It is one of the marks of motherhood. However, if they are itching, ask your doctor if anything other than moisturizer you can put on it; you may try Aquaphor (you'll use this on baby's bottom for diaper rash, but, I am not sure if it okay for your stretch marks, but, I think it is petroleum based). Vaseline may do. However, before you put ANYTHING on; ask your doctor or pharmacist if it can damage the growth of the fetus in ANY way, as it is forming organs, brain connections, everything, at a rapid rate, and any toxic substance you input into your system via any means, can cause damage. I really would forget vanity and consider the harm it may cause the baby. I learned this by inhaling ant poison (on accident) at 4 to 5 months gestation; my baby's brain was malformed. So, I caution you to realize that, via lungs, skin, ingestion, everything is transmitted in some way to your child. Take better care of your child, as you would expect your mother to take care of you. Good luck, and don't worry about those marks; they fade with every smile from your little one.

You just need to keep putting lotion on and drinking your water. Streach marks are genetic, so you are pretty much stuck. You can try mederma or something like that after the baby is born but it might not do much. The only thing you can really do is have all your kids then get a tummy tuck. You might need one by then anyways, I know I want one when I'm done having them. Also a breast lift would be nice. Pregnancy dose horrible things to your boobs, although as long as you keep breastfeeding its harder to tell! Good luck.

I used cocoa butter. That seemed to alleviate the itching. Nothing really helped with the stretch marks.

Try the Vitamin E capsules that your suppose to take, break them open and rub the Vitamin E thats inside on your stretch marks. It's a little greasy but it works.

I used vitamin E capsules, poked a hole in them and put the oil directly on my tummy. For the itching I used to have a bath in epsom salts, then baby lotion right after the bath. Good luck :)

Try something over the counter specifcally for scars. Those products are usually good for moisturizing the skin and helping with stretch marks. That's what my cousin used.
