Is it weird for me to hate most men?

I see guys around me and view most of them as the slime of the earth. They abuse their girlfriends, listen to music that glorifies violence and degrades women, and in general have terrible attitudes towards anything different or unique.
I suppose their behavior conflicts with my whole persona, but I don't understand how they can be so horrible. They shun healthy emotional behavior in favor of boasting and disloyalty.

Does anyone else feel bothered by this at all, anyone else annoyed by the male-dominated culture that seems to have its priorities all mixed up? or is it just me, the single lone person that believes these kind of guys are trash?

Someone mentioned something about a chuch. I am passionately against christianity which I feel is responcable for many of the horrible attitudes that men posess today.

The majority of the worst men I've observed wear crosses around their necks.

Also I am not saying I hate all men, almost all gay men seem to be really nice to women. There are also people who shair my own beliefs that are kind towards women. Wiccan and Pagan men seem to be kinder towards women the the usual population from my general observations.

There are still a lot of them left. By them I mean men who haven't evolved. I do not mean evolution. I mean those who have not become civilized through education. The better educated a person is the more civilized they become in their character. There are some great men out there. I can not tell you enough how annoying I find the chest beaters. I hate it when I see them passing this character onto their sons even more. Don't forget there are women who like these kind of men because they just do not know any different. I find that very sad.

I don't exactly see them as trash, as much as stuck in the dominant male ego crap. They were raised to think the way they do and haven't gone beyond that. Free thinkers learn that a good woman or man won't put up with such nonsense anymore. But then again there are women out there who are raised to think they are supposed to be dominated by a "chest beater".

Hate in any form or abuse in any form inflicted upon another person is unacceptable behavior.

So lets all just grow up and wise up and let the hate fall to the wayside.

Christian, religious, or not, bad behavior is bad behavior and none of it should be tolerated from anyone.

You don't have to love everyone either, but how about simple respect and kindness, whatever happened to that?

There are alot of crappy men in the world. And there are alot of men who cleaim to be Pagan or Wiccan just so they can get laid by the "easy" Pagan/Wiccan girls. Believe me, I know. I'm one of those girls. I personally have a hard time with most women though. I get so sick of listening to them whine about how we're mistreated and then turn around and allow themselves to be mistreated. We are Goddess. If we demand respect, we can get it.

Men can't expect to have someone pay their dinner bill, hold the door and then run and get the car in the rain so they don't have to get wet. Unless they're gay, of course. And men are more restricted in employment. Yes, we may make less money in the same job on average, but while men can be mechanics and construction workers just fine- and are in fact, more sexy for it, male florists and day care workers are generally frowned upon.

The fact is, we women have it damn good. We cannot be discrimated against, degraded or otherwise mistreated unless we allow it. We have the ability to walk away from a disrespectful man- in fact, we get preferential treatment in custody, child support and alimony cases, so we've got alot less to lose in the deal.

I think most men know it, and I think it scares them to death. That's why they act like fools. But the women let them. They allow it. Who raises them? Mothers, female teachers and childcare professionals for the most part. And somehow, even though they're jerks, they still manage to get laid! Who's laying them? Women, perpetuating their bad behavior.

My man is one of the good ones. He's got me wrapped around his finger. Every time he gives me a backrub, opens the door, or relinquishes his umbrella, I make sure he's well rewarded. He hasn't done it yet, but if he ever does anything degrading, violent or disloyal he will suffer. Alone. Not in my house.
But then, I expect to received the same treatment should I do likewise.

i feel like that a lot of the times but its from bad experiences. I think and I think there is good men out there they are just all taken and some of them are getting scorned by women, I'm not trying bad mouth anyone but how many of you know someone either male or female is a good
person and are just with a bad apple?

This behavior is probly due to insecurities but I would say that MOST men are not the slime of the earth. maybe you need to be in a different environment.

my step father beat me all the time when i was a kid, and 4 or 5 years ago i was molested by a stranger, i looked at alot of men as...let me see scum, but i found my soulmate, which is now my husband, there are some guys out there that do have alot of respect for women but many that don't, i guess i found one of the some

im in the same exact boat, and my last x said i was nothing but a man hater, how could you not be when we pick the wrong guys, not men, to be with. they are not men, only guys, or little boys to me. u learn to hate em all when they all do you wrong at some point, my last one alone, cheated on me, lied to me nonstop, took me for granted, took tons of drugs behind my back, and then lied to me about it all. to me, all guys are dogs, and that statement is the truth. yes, most men out there ruin it for the rest of them bc they cant treat a lady right!!!

You are hanging out with the wrong friends. Guys that you have just described are trash and it is normal to hate them. In fact, I can feel the anger in me building up too.

For you to generalise "most" men as being like this either means you hang around with the wrong type of men.........or you're just very narrow minded, possibly bitter about something. open your eyes and you'll find good people.
