1. He has not enforced immigration laws.
2. He has refused to veto the out of control Republican spending.
3. He has not defended himself from the smear merchants in the media. Though, he has started to go on offense and I am loving it.
He has done a lot. He had 9-11 happen early in his tenure. We have not had a single attack on American soil, which says a lot. I have to give him credit for this. He has pushed tax cuts, though spending is out of control.
As for the person who said tax cuts for the rich, get your facts. 96.54% of all federal income taxes are paid by the top 50% of earners. Who is going to get a tax cut when they cut federal income taxes? You cannot give tax cuts to the 33% of Americans who do not pay them.
I have read so many stupid and partisan questions tonight. Cut the crap. I am sick of people on both sides asking stupid questions that should be deleted. Can anyone ask an intelligent question where we can actually have a discussion?
BTW, this is a good question.

Yes, but then again if you had to fight off all of your co-workers while doing the most difficult job in the world, you'd probably fail too...
He needs better P.R. The Democrats are much more slick and polished, nevermind that it is truly just a thin facade...

no, i don't think he has failed. but i would say some mistakes were made. i agree with the war whether the reasons were right or not, i agree with the wire tapping, i agree with limited torture, etc...i think he/they could have handled the war better. i think the president should address the public more, etc... he is afterall our president we should respect the office even if we don't like the person...i personally couldn't stand clinton...but i respected the office...i wish liberals had respect for the office...

I think Bush is doing an outstanding job, given the circumstances, on every thing except controlling the borders.

I think he's done a lot of smart things and a lot of not very smart things.
I also think that unless a person is affluent in governmental affairs (tax, economy, international relations, border control, social issues), a person cannot stand in judgement of him. People need unbiased factual results of his decision in order to judge whether he has done a good job or not.

I don't think any President really fails, but they don't get all the things done, He has not gotten a ban on Gay marriage, that hurt since that was a major issue. And he has not done anything in real support of the immigrant issue.
But the economy is doing great, stocks making all time highs, and he had a tough fight with the war.
He could have done alot better, but it has been good compared to what a liberal president would have done about these issues

Yes,
He hasn't secured the border and deported the illegal aliens.
He hasn't properly turned Iran and Syria into parking lots.
That is why his poll numbers are down. Don't even think we would vote democrat socialist.

Nope. The American people have failed by not backing
him in this fight of terrorism. If we had all been behind him
from the beginning, it might all be over by now. The enemy
recognizes and laughs that we are fighting about it with
ourselves over here. And they love the press taking pictures
of their dastardly deeds of car bombs, people dead in the
streets, restaurants & libraries blown up, cars bombed,
and our soldiers being killed. We're helping them all we can,
aren't we? A real shame.
