That's it, you got it 100%, especially the last line. That is how we see each other, that is what the news media wants to be seen, that is what the governments wants us to believe. SO, WE BELIEVE! Great future, don't you think?

Your being naive in the sense of comparing Bundy or Hitler to representatives of the Christian direction. But, when you have people like the Iatola Khomeni who are the (elected) leaders of their nations and faith, and they kidnap civilians from a U.S. Embassy, and hold them for leverage, you get the idea that there is a majority of them who support these actions. No you can't stereotype people, you have to conclude your decision on a one on one basis, but we have to be realistic. If there are muslims out there who don't agree with the current leadership, like say Iran, then they need to stand up and be recognized.

No. Not all Muslims. The extremists are though. The problem with the moderate Muslims is that they do not contain their nuts. The western world has their share of nuts but we usually contain them. McVeigh is dead. We killed him. The Unabomber is in jail. Eric Rudolph has been caught.
Only 1% might be violent as said above but that is still 1.2 mllion people.

no way.........if that were the case...then 1.5 billion (that is 1 out of every 5 people in the world) muslims, would have made things in this world a lot different than they are now. muslims are peaceful loving people...the barbaric ones are not muslims....they are radicals and out of control.

Until they, the good hearted Muslims stand up and denounce the killing in the name of Islam, then I guess a lot of people will continue to believe that they bring no goodness to this world.
Hitler did not kill all of those people in the name of christianity, and Ted Bundy did not kill people in the name of christianity. Please use better examples of people killing in the name of a religion. I can't recall any in my lifetime.

It's not Christians standing by the tens of thousands screaming, kill the infidels; it's Muslims. I'm sure plenty of them must be good people, but I think they are afraid of the bad ones. It's obvious they will kill each other, too, as they are doing everywhere.
The arrogance of those huge crowds to threaten death to the Pope (no, I'm not Catholic) for saying something they don't like, causes me to dismiss them all as dangerous nuts.

Used to behead? Where have you been, their still doing it.
What I don't understand is, if Muslims are offended when a Cartoon or a Pope depict them as violent, then why do they immediately take to the streets and prove the accusation correct.

No, but the Muslims aren't doing themselves any favors either when they burn down churches over words and keep silent over beheadings.

only the angry muslims are shown on tv.
also, "islamifascists" make up less than 1% of the population in the countries that have them. something most Americans sadly don't even know.

As extremely some human beings have talked about, Christians and persons of distinct faiths have truly killed relatives even with the indisputable fact that the barbaric act of beheading someone is truly appalling. optimal persons ought to no longer commit an act so atrocious. What extremely bothers me even with the indisputable fact that is that by ability of undeniable reality that his better 1/2 replaced into divorcing him, obviously to be an honor killing and honor killings look acceptable to too many Muslims so what does this say about Muslims?...that women are second type electorate and are disposable ought to their husbands or male relatives ascertain they have presented disgrace to the relatives. the international receives outraged (rightly so) about Darfur, Bosnia, etc., yet the position's the outrage about how women are treated interior the Muslim international?
