There is this boy I like since last year and now he's a senior and Im a Sophomore. I decided for him to know that I like him. His bullshit excuse was that Oh I dont go out with girls that's younger than him. Knowing that Last year he went out with a girl in my math class in the same grade as me. So today I wanted to ask him. And I was literally stuttering over my words. I didn't know what to ask him. I thought dumb stuff like that only happened in movies. I didn't know what to say. And then my friend was right there and I kept asking her what was I supposed to say again. And he was laughing, and I feel like I should of never told him that I liked him. Cause he probably thinking, this dumb girl looks like a fool. He was laughing in my face. Interesting!

But my friend told me that she asked him what was the real reason and he said oh the truth is that he doesnt know whether to choose between me and my friend. And she knows that I like him. But oh well.

Well sorry honey but if you caught him in a lie then he is just not worth your time. He wasn't worth confronting cause in the end you probably made it look like you REALLY like him because you chose to confront him about it instead of just leaving it alone and getting the hint. If a guy gives you the impression that he is not interested then move on or you will just end up regreting it later in the future. I'm sorry you had to go through that but hey we all learn in life from the mistakes we make. Just ignore him cause there are actually guys out there that are worth your time :)

You didn't do a "dumb" thing. You probably didn't know any better. Leave this guy alone. He is obviously not interested in you and is an inconsiderate jerk! You have you whole life ahead of you, and plenty of time to find a nice guy to be with. Just be yourself, and remember, the bees go to the flower, not the flower to the bee. So blossom into the beautiful young woman that you are, and let nature take its own course. Don't let this little incident dampen your spirits.

na, you didnt do a dumb thing...

he probably thinks you are cute and that's why he was laughing and didnt get the mad or turn around and run.

now that you've experienced this i dont think you should ask him or tell him anything else. He knows you like him, leave it at that coz if he wanted anything then he wouldnt have made up that excuse anyway and he probably just wants to be nice.

if anything, see how u go just as casual friends for a while and then take it from there.

good luck.

okay. first, it is never a dumb thing to tell a person that you like him. to tell you the truth, i respect u for being honest and brave enough to walk up and say things like that. well, he wasn't really laughin at your face. he thinks you're cute!
looking at the bright side, dear you know that he's not interested in you and you can move on. if you haven't confessed anything, youmight still keep your feeling inside, holding back for nothing! so, i would say that you've done a good thing and don't ever regret it.

It was dumb take it as a learning experience.

Never tell a guy you like him, because they think they got you. Always, just flirt a little if he likes you he will firt back and approach you. if he does move on.
