Refill my ice tea three times, brought the food very quickly, checked to see if I liked the food, brought me any condiments I asked for.
I would tip her $10.

As a former waitress ... my answer is probably bias. On a $50 tab with an awesome server ... $12-$14 tip. Server needs to be attentive, but not hovering. In fact, the best server is the one who I don't realize has been so great until the check comes and I realize "Wow! Great service. Didn't really know he/she was there, yet I never needed anything. He/she anticipated everything I needed and was right there when I need something not anticipated."

First and foremost, she would have to make me feel comfortable being there. That means I feel at home, unhurried and that I would want to return.
Second, she would make sure my water glass never goes below half empty. That is the hallmark of good water service that most places today seem to have forgotten or choose to ignore.
Third, she would make sure my order is filled promptly and correctly and would gladly do anything to make it right if it isn't.
Generally, 25-30% plus a personal word of thanks to the waitress should suffice.
Theoretically, the sky (or more accurately, your wallet) is the limit when you really want to reward good service. I agree that there are many other ways to reward outstanding service. Showing your appreciation by asking for that server by name whenever you patronize the establishment is one way for you to reward them with repeat business (and generous tips). If you happen to see the manager, let them know as well.

Hello ,
All Service people do appreciated a tip ,
No really the size of it but the way that customers give it and the way that customers treat Waiters & waitresses.........
Firstly , Make sure that the "amazing waitresse " do know that you have appreciated very much her service (not over doing it )
Second , If you are a regular ask wich area she servicing on the day and ask a table to be serve by her . That will please her greatly and let her management know of her performance
Give a good but not excessive reward.............
Good luck

I had a baista working for me at my coffee shop some years ago. This sweet young thing that was flirting with him, who usually gave him a daily $1 tip on her $3 Mocha, one day tipped him $50 to get his attention. Made his day!
You might want to tip accordingly.

I like to tip 20-30% if they were good. That includes getting my order right, refills when I need them, prompt check delivery, and a smile. (I tip well because I have been there and I know tips made the difference whether or not my family got dinner that night.)

She would tell you what not to order. and then precede to be very attentive, to make sure you had everything you needed. You usually double the taxes and then add some. I'd give her a ten if she was that good. What the heck they work hard.

She may get $25.00 from us. And a word to the manager that she's excellent.
(Both our Moms were servers, so we know what work is like for them.)
She would anticipate our needs, not ask any stupid questions, get our orders correct, and thank us for dining at "___________" restaurant! At one place we go, the servers always remember what I had for dessert last time!
