It took me two months to get through the 90 page book "The Pearl" by Steinbeck for my 9th grade PAP-English class. I haven't touched it since. I'm sure it's not as boring as I made it out to be, but to a 13 year old, it was REALLY BORING!

I was going to say "The Hobbit" but then someone mentioned "The Pearl" and the mere memory of it almost caused me to lapse into a coma. It was only 90 pages???? Geez...sure seemed longer.
