What are some signs to tell the difference between friendship, and really liking the person as more than just a friend?

when someone likes you...
they obvioulsy will flirt with you
they will stare at you
when your talking to thetm and there making eye contact/and grinning
the way they will carry themselves around you
when some one just likes you as a friend...
all the opposite from the above...

The signs can be pretty confusing sometimes. Especially in high school. I knew that I was gay, but I kept it to myself. I remember this one really hot kid who called me "smiles" because I never talked, and I smiled a lot, and when I did smile, my eyes scrunched up because I have high cheek bones. Also, there was this other kid who was the hottest. He was ripped and could get any girl he wanted, but he seemed to watch me a lot. He even wrote a song about me. He would follow me around a lot and talk to me. He always said hi to me, and there were also times when he would ask if I liked any girls, and I always thought, "Ummm, I don't think so." Signs are very confusing, I wasn't sure if these boys liked me or not, and I probably will never know, sinse I moved to the other side of the country to L.A. after high school. Maybe they were gay, and they had gaydars going off when they saw me, I may never know. Friends and more-than-just-friends can get confused often. However, as I learned in my case, always go for it. You never know. Maybe something could happen. But, always remember to go for it. What have you got to lose? If you don't, you might live the rest of your life never knowing, or missing out on something great.

There are no real signs. Every sign will vary from person to person. The best thing is to be blunt and ask. That's the only way to get a real answer.

If they have sex with you, that is a sign they like you more than a friend.

if that person likes you alot then they would be there everyday or call you every day and let you know how they feel by buying to stuff and doing little things like giving you compliments all the time.
