I'm looking for some trance music that is more on the sad side than the regular happy euro style type. I need something to reflect my mood so i need something sad gloomy sounding preferably without any vocals but if you can't think of any without vocals then tell me some with vocals.

here are three that could be considered sad. that is kind of hard to pin point though since most trance is uplifting and usually on the positive side.

I don't know if it's what you're looking for or not, but I LOVE Enigma (most songs have little to no vocals and what is sung is sung mostly in French)

Look for an old compilation called "Mission Into Drums". Its a bit darker and smooth.
