The Red Sea separates Africa from Asia Minor and at the northen end The Dardenelles splits Tukey in two, half in Europe and the other half in Asia minor. The I.D. of asia minor was used to stop confusion as India, Cathay(China) were more or less considered the real Asia. However Asia Minor is Asia. Saudi Arabia is the southern tip and is Asia.
