Ordinary citizens disappearing in the middle of the night...secret police listening in on private conversations...the systematic rounding-up of the enemy and imprisoned without charge or trial...the espousing of one religious belief over all others...the using of a national tragedy as a war cry to justify lies and deceit...government officals enacting laws to justify their illegal actions.
