We've been thinking about bombing Iran! Bush wanted to rattle the sabers and posture over it last winter, and the Joint Chiefs of Staff unanimously threatened to resign in protest!
So we're acting cool, probably because we want the Russians as allies and they don't want us to vaporize the Iranian nuke plants.

Youre an idiot.
First of all, the so-called "nuclear research" Iran is currently doing concerns amounts of uranium so small that they cant be used to make even one atomic bomb. Irans research is total harmless. The reason you think it isnt is because you believe everything Bush says and he isnt telling you the whole truth.
Secondly, even if Iran was manufacturing nukes in industrial quantities, neither you nor the US government (which has more nukes than any other country on earth) has the right to tell them not to. How can one country that has WMDs tell another country that it cant have them? Imagine if you lived in Iran, then think about the situation from that point of view. Itll do you some good.
