It means that the person is comfortable with you if they touch you. I wouldn't say that they "LIKE" you, but I think that it means that they are comfortable with you.

Touching briefly while conversing is a very common technique to bring the other person deeper into the conversation. It works. It doesn't mean you like the person, per se, just that you're wanting them to pay attention to what you are saying. Godloveya.

well just because someone touches u (not in a sexually way) it may seem awkward, but it actually says that that person is comfortable talking to you.

no way. i love guys! but just cuz u touch them wen ur talking to them, does not mean you like the person. i have a ton of guy friends. i always hook arms, or touch their arms or sumthing wen i talk. it lets me kno they're listening to me.

its not necessary but it may mean they have stong feelings, compassion, or care deeply about the issue.
