is a 71% on your first chemistry test really bad? and i want to go to college for nursing... should i stick with this class?

What do you mean stick with the class?.... isnt it a requirement. Anyway I would do it. Colleges look at those basic courses. Study hard, go to the teacher, get help... Do what it takes. Dont worry, same thing is happening to me. Ive taken several tests in English and am working more hard each time. Slowly my grades coming going up. I believe in you and think you should go for it.

No, it is not bad on a chemistry test, and you should stick with the class. Chemistry is needed for an RN's license.

i believe chemistry is a prerequisite for nursing. you could hire tutors. the subjects required for nursing in the higher levels are even harder than chemistry. so you have to decide for yourself if you are up to it or not. hard work studying is a given. best of luck!
