I'm not asking if he's cheating, cuz I know he's not and I'm not trying to leave him, so don't tell me that crap. We don't need counseling, we're doing good...he just couldn't remember and apologized for it. Now I feel very hurt. Has anybody else's spouse done anything like this?

Have you ever noticed guys usually don't read the directions when putting something together? And sometimes they have parts left over? Some men have a tendency to skip the small details, but they do see the big picture. My fiancee would probably get mine wrong if asked. It doesn't mean he doesn't love me or is cheating. It hurts, but the best thing you can do is just let it go. He didn't mean to hurt your feelings, and I'm sure he was very sorry when he saw how it hurt you. BTW, I bet he can answer the question correctly now.

You will pardon my slight smile I hope? I understand that you may be upset a little by it, but hey, you have a great guy if that is the only thing that bugs you about him. Believe it or not, I am not at all surprised that he can't remember. Many times men just don't pay attention and are a little obtuse. To you, it is important enough to remember, as it is with many women. It just isn't something many men think about. So, don't feel hurt. Just resign yourself that there are some things that are more important to you than they are to him. You don't have to agree on everything to have a life together. Just be glad you got a good one, even if he can't remember the color of your eyes.

I love my husband and he loves me and I know that, we been together for 3 years. He probally would get my eye color wrong, if someone asked. I remind him of my birthday. He is just not very good at those things, however he knows to the day our first date and the first time he bought me dinner. So don't feel bad, men are just like that, to them remembering little things isn't all that important to them as it is to us... As long as you know he loves you with all his heart sometimes you just look the other way

They're just eyes, don't let it bother you. I know he thinks you have beautiful eyes, some people just don't focus on color. I have been dating my boyfriend for 4 years and I know his eyes are either green or brown, but I couldn't tell you which. I focus on the whole picture, he has a very handsome face! I wouldn't take it the wrong way. He probably likes to focus on your whole face too, or the look in your eyes, rather than a silly thing like color.

That would earn my husband a horrible glare and at least 2 weeks on the couch. That's just mean. I wouldn't be too upset though, men can be dumb sometimes. Call him a different name next time you two are in bed together. Then apologize and say you just forgot.

I would be totally offended and wonder why he couldn't remember. There had to be a reason...obviously this is not a good thing...then again, men are just idiots some time and forget stuff...sometimes important stuff.

No, my husband is aware of the color of my eyes. I guess it just means that he stopped looking in your eyes when you're talking to them and just basically taken u for granted. I would probably feel hurt by it.

Some days I feel that I should be greatful that my husband remembers my name, let alone anything else. He never remembers anything.....and we've been married 10 years.

Guys, as a whole, are not detail oriented. We may notice a pretty girl but not be able to tell you what she was wearing. Girls could see a good looking guy and tell you what color his shoes were. Don't over analyze a brain fart.

don't feel bad mine many times forgets my birthday, eye color, age, and so forth, men just aren't usually good with details. I am sure he loves you and it's not about the color of your eyes
