You definitely have potential in your voice! If I had to make a suggestion, I would probably say that you should try to hold a note steady at some parts. You have a lot of vibrato, which is a good thing! But listeners may get bored if you don't add some variety to your singing technique. Good luck on your next cover! :)

Melissa Ethridge has a husky voice, kind of deep and rough. So do Actresses Brenda Vicarro And Angie Harmon and Kathleen Turner who starred in War of the Roses.

I've been told I have a husky voice. It's not deep but it's a little raspy and I've been told it's childlike and sexy. I don't like it though because I think I sound like Peppermint Patty.
