I am on the POS plan. What percentage of the cost of a vasectomy would this plan cover? Do I need a referral? Please list your experience with this. Thanks in advance.

Check with the plan administrator at your work. When I went for mine, I didn't and the doctors office told me they (BC BS of florida) would cover all but the Copay and 35 dollars of the proceedure.
Low and behold they ONLY covered $35 dollars. The proceedure was $535. I had to Pay $500 out of pocket.
So make sure you check and good luck.
By the way it is worth it!

Look on the back of your insurance card and you will find the phone number to call to ask that question. Every policy is different. Good luck!
