My best friend and I have known one another for nearly 40 years. Even though we live about 500 miles apart, we still get together several times a year and play music. This year we decided to record together and make a "legacy" CD for our kids.

yes i remember my first best friend. Her name was Brooks.. her grandparents live like 2 doors down from where i used to live. Her parents would always be at work so every afternoon after school i would be at her grandparents house. My frien Brooks is still around but right now she is living in Geremany.

Yes! Her name was Diane, and I met her in my freshman year in high school. Her brothers used to tease me a lot, and one day when I drove my old VW van to her house, they picked it up and turned it sideways in the driveway! I laughed till I had tears in my eyes and it was one of the most fun memories I have.
We used to do everything together and lost touch after high school, but I met her again at our 30 year reunion. She had married the guy she dated in high school, but unfortunately they broke up. She is still such a sweetheart, and I knew again right away why she was my best friend then.
It's hard to keep your best friends through life, and it's so worth the effort to keep it going if you have the chance.

My first best friend was the dog I had as a kid. We got him when I was 3 so we pretty much grew up together. Sadly he's no longer around, he died when I was 17.

I met my 1st friend in nursery school. I was 3 I remember becuz I thought I was big to be able to walk to the end of the block to go to the basement of the church for school. She got into drugs and died

Yea I remember her. We stopped being friends after elementary & then in high school we started talking again.
She was a complete skank. At 15 years she confessed that she had sex with over 50 different guys. Yea, she was a skank.
I don't hang out with her anymore.

yes and he is still around--he beat-up a sick kid in hi school i had to stop him-that ended the friendship after 10 years--he ended up marrying my older brothers daughter--i haven't seen or talked to him for 40 years

Yes I remember. And no they are not around they f***ed me out of $1,500 So that was a little bit of a issue between us!!!!!
